We all have days where we are fed up with our jobs and the career path we have taken ourselves on. Not so many years ago a job was deemed to be for life and we stayed in jobs and within careers that we would drag ourselves to every day…just because it’s what we did and what was expected of us.
Many things have changed over the years, some good and some not so good and the good is that jobs and the careers we chose are so much more flexible and the idea of staying in one job with one skill set is now considered old fashioned.
With the advent of the internet and our growing need for quick answers and knowledge our learning and number of skills we are now achieving is growing by the day and things we never thought we could do and achieve we are doing now every day.
We all seem to live such stressful lives, not only in the work place. Turn on the news and we are bombarded with nothing but gloom and doom which is very sadly resulting in a huge increase in people visiting their doctors and being prescribed medication to help them cope.
Being able to offer an alternative to others by using the tools that Mindfulness can offer is life changing for you as the teacher and of course the recipient.
Mindfulness has been scientifically proven to change peoples mental ability to cope with many problems that we face from anxiety to pain. It is an incredibly rewarding skill and one that will remain in your life forever.
